INTERESTS Marine acoustics and seismic reflection mainly applied to: Processes of genesis of the oceanic crust, Crustal architecture and evolution of continental margins, Gas hydrate-rich sedimentary systems, Active faulting at sea: Implications for seismic and tsunami hazards, and Marine paleoseismology. Development and testing of new marine geoscience instrumentation (e.g. piston corer system, high-resolution MCS).
